Dear Knights of the Round Table
I would like to start by thanking you for a lovely evening on 13th of June at the House of Lords which was incredibly memorable and a wonderful way to begin the summer.
Throughout the summer, I was fortunate to attend two festivals. The first was the Budapest festival Academy where I participated both as a soloist and with my trio; the second festival took place in Majorca centred around the Torre de Canyamel a 13th century tower transformed into a stunning concert venue.
I have now returned to the RCM this term and I have a number of solo and chamber concerts ahead including a chamber exchange with the Mozart team where my trio will perform in the Wiener Saal on 12th of November. There will also be a concert at the RCM in the performance hall on the 19th of November and two recitals on 20th November at the Austrian Embassy and the Warburg Institute as part of this Anglo Austrian Society exchange, our programme will feature works by Korngold, Bridge, Britten and Mozart. On the solo side I am preparing for the semi-finals of the Wales International Competition in mid October.
I cannot thank you enough for supporting me throughout another year at the college as without your help none of these opportunities would have been possible. I’m also especially grateful for your presence at my concerts last year. It always meant so much to see both you and Patrick in the audience.
