THE SOCIETY’S DINNER IN HONOUR OF THE SERVICES AT CUTLERS’ HALL - WEDNESDAY 26TH NOVEMBER 2025

What a memorable Society’s Dinner in Honour of the Services at Cutlers’ Hall on Wednesday 26 November 2025.

The procession proudly included the newly repaired Society flags, and RAF cadets lined the stairs as guests moved from the reception to dinner. Cutlers’ Hall, beautifully decorated for Christmas, lent a festive glow to the evening.

From the Beadle’s call to table and the Knight President’s warm welcome—framed by a graceful piano piece from our RCM awardee Mischa Carr—to the quiet dignity of Grace before and after meat, the night flowed with ceremony and camaraderie.

The Arthurian Toast set the tone for the latter part of the night, followed by the Knight President’s toast to our guests and an eloquent response from Air Marshal Allan Marshall, before a charming musical interlude from Mischa.

As proceedings drew to a close, the Knight Vice President’s concluding remarks and his ceremonial drawing of the ‘Sword in the Stone’ during the withdrawal of the principal guests, provided a fitting finale before we dispersed.
