Shreyas Supparamaniam: Joint winner of Louis Solomon Award for Surgical Skills from the Royal College Surgeons

Dr Shreyas Supparamaniam bio:

I studied medicine at the University of Dundee and graduated with an MBChB in 2020. I began my clinical training in the North East of England, where I developed a strong passion for teaching. This led me to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education while working as a Clinical Teaching Fellow for both Sunderland and Newcastle Medical Schools. In 2023, I entered Plastics-themed Core Surgical Training and will be taking up a role as a Plastic Surgery Research Registrar at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield, in August 2025.

Receiving the Louis Solomon Award for Surgical Skills is a true honour — one made possible by the exceptional mentorship and guidance of my trainers in the North East. I remain sincerely grateful to the Knights for this opportunity and recognition.

Thank you
